Emperor Aquatics SMART UV Lite ( 2" Body )

SMART UV Lite's models are designed for space conscious pond keepers with smaller ponds. Each SMART UV Lite is made of 2" UV resistant plastic, comes with a Lifetime UV Housing Warranty, and features their SMART BALLAST. Models are available with Socket, Barb and Union inlet/outlet ports.

SMART UV's are generally larger because they offer a greater UV Exposure Area. All SMART UV's are powered by the SMART BALLAST that operates the UV lamp at peak efficiency; providing optimal UV-C output and lamp life. Each SMART UV model positions the UV lamp completely between the inlet/ourlet ports to utilize the entire lamp length, unlike most competing UV brands.

Emperor AquaticsSuggested Flow Rates represent a UV transmissibility of 90% and consider the lamp's performance at the end of its useful lamp life. These two factors combined with truthful equipment capacity explain whythe flow rates are so much more conserative than many competitors recommended flow rates.
