Description Red Water Dock Rumex sanguineus 'Bloody Dock' seems to be known by a variety of names. However all lead to the same beautiful plant. The red veining on a green leaf offers a showy plant in the water garden. As an added bonus, the new leaves can be eaten as spinach.
*Plant Height: 15" and 12" wide
*Hardiness: Zone 4-9
*Flowers: small shoots above foliage.
We snip off flowers to keep leaves producing
*Lighting: Sun to part-shade, does best in some shade
* Growing Conditions: Moist soil to water 1"
