Houttuynia cordata - Chameleon
Description![]() Houttuynia, "Chameleon" plants have heart-shaped leaves that form a dense mat and have a spicy fragrance when crushed. Leaf color is marbled dreen, yellow, and maroon. Cone-shaped white flowers appear in late summer. Of creeping habit, it makes an excellent transition plant from pond edge to 1-2 in. of water. Works well in floating island plantings.
