Description Parrot's Feather Myriophyllum aquaticum, is a slightly tender submerged plant from South America, that is now naturalized across Nothe America. Very popular with partially submerged, feathery foliage. The foliage provides lush texture under the more vertical pond plants.
* Plant Height: Stems can grow 20-60 inches long with leaves 1-2 inches long
in whorls of four to six, divided into four to eight bright green segments
* Hardiness: up to Zone 5
* Flowers: None
* Lighting: Sun to partial shade
* Growing Conditions: Grow in water up to 24 inches. Capable of rooting in wet soil around the pond.
Winters well beneath the ice in frozen ponds.
